Cinque Terre day boat tour
The Cinque Terre Day Boat Tour is designed for those who want to explore the coastline during the heart of the day, when the sea is at its clearest and the colours of the villages shimmer on the water.

The Cinque Terre Sunset Boat Tour is a more intimate and unhurried experience. As the sun begins to set, the light softens, the sea grows calm and the villages take on warm, golden hues. It’s the perfect moment to experience the coastline in a quiet and evocative way.

What is the difference between the Cinque Terre Day Boat Tour and the Sunset Boat Tour?
The Day Boat Tour takes place during the heart of the day and allows you to explore the entire Cinque Terre coastline, with swimming and snorkeling stops when conditions allow. The Sunset Boat Tour, on the other hand, takes place in the late afternoon and at sunset, offering a more intimate and evocative atmosphere — ideal for those who want to experience the coastline in softer light and with fewer crowds.
How long do the Cinque Terre boat tours last?
The daytime tour lasts approximately 3 hours, while the sunset tour runs for around 2.5 hours. Both experiences are designed to strike a balance between scenic sailing, local stories and swimming stops.
Do the tours include snorkeling in the Cinque Terre Marine Park?
Yes, snorkeling is included. The day tour is the better option for this activity, as we have more time and the light conditions are ideal. We provide guidance to ensure a safe experience that respects the marine environment.
Where do the Cinque Terre boat tours depart from?
Our Cinque Terre boat tours depart from Levanto or Monterosso. Monterosso al Mare, the first village of the National Park, is the easiest to reach by train and an ideal starting point for exploring the coastline by sea. Levanto, on the other hand, is more convenient for those arriving by car, with easier parking options. Departing from Levanto also allows you to enjoy an extended route, including the stunning stretch of coastline around Punta Mesco, offering a unique and less crowded perspective of the Cinque Terre. For private tours and tailor-made experiences, departure from either location can be arranged upon request.
Are the tours suitable for families with children?
Yes, the traditional Ligurian gozzo has a slow and controlled sailing pace. Our Cinque Terre boat excursions are suitable for families too, always under adult supervision.
Are the tours authorised within the Cinque Terre Marine Park?
