The departure and arrival of our tours is at the Molo La Pietra in Levanto, we also stop in Molo dei Pescatori di Monterosso, the marina in the historic area of Monterosso al Mare.

There are many ways to get to Monterosso if you are not staying there, however we recommend arriving by train, for convenience, comfort and to avoid the problem of parking in the Cinque Terre and curves and narrow streets if you are traveling by car.

the arrival station is Levanto or Monterosso al Mare.

In Levanto: once you get off the station, follow the indication to the center and then for the ferry boat departure, we’ll wait for you at Molo la Pietra

In Monterosso: once you get off the station you will see the sea in front of you, turn left and continue along the seafront promenade that will take you towards the historic center of Monterosso, at the exit of the tunnel, on the right , take the staircase that descends down to the harbour  , we will be waiting for you with our Giulin!

If you arrive by car you have two possibilities: either park in the city of La Spezia or the town of Levanto, or arrive directly in Monterosso.

If you decide to park in Levanto or La Spezia, just take the exit from the A12 motorway for each (for Levanto: Levanto Carrodano, for La Spezia: La Spezia) near the train stations of the two towns you will find two paid parking lots, from here you can comfortably take your train to Monterosso.

Usually between the two options we suggest Levanto in case you decide to stay outside the Cinque Terre, Levanto looks like a small city with all the necessary services but with beautiful beaches and glimpses in the historic center, typical of the ancient Ligurian villages.

For information about the parking lots in Levanto and Spezia you will find here indicated the sites to visit:

If you decide to park directly in Monterosso, the best exit from the A12 motorway is Levanto Carrodano, from here you will follow the signs for Levanto and then for Monterosso / Cinque Terre, (in this case by experience we suggest you consider additional time to get there because of summer traffic)

Continue on the road for another 15/20 minutes, when you arrive at the top of the hill you will find the Monterosso Alto hotel on your right and a bright sign of Welcome to Monterosso, you will see a crossroads in front of you, a road to the left that leads to the historic center or a road to the right to arrive in the new part of the town (Lungomare Fegina). We recommend the second one. At the end of the road you will arrive in a small square beyond which you will find the parking lot. From here you can either take a taxi or walk along the promenade towards the historical center (about a 10 minute walk to the marina)

Parking in Monterosso:

it is possible to park both in Monterosso Vecchia (100 parking spaces) and in Fegina (300 parking spaces), but, as previously indicated, it is way better to park in Fegina, as it has a much larger parking area. Keep in mind that in the months of July and August or on holidays it is difficult to find free parking spaces with the risk of having to go back.
